Given that this is a Self Motivational Blog, i thought i’d take a few minutes to talk about the importance of Health and Fitness.
See, keeping a balance between your health and other things in your life, such as a career or education, is one of the most important things you could do. This is why you should excersise at least a few times per week. Now, ofcourse that sounds cliche and what not, but i really believe that staying healthy can impove your energy level, your thinking ability, and decrease the level of stress that you experience daily.
Here’s the point. I found a great new “workout program” called P90X. Now i know what your thinking: Oh, it’s another one of those. Well the answer to that is: yeah, it is, but it’s much better, and better yet, IT ACTUALLY WORKS! A friend of mine recommended it so i went over to the site: www.p90x.com and checked it out for myself. I was amazed at the amount of scientific exprimentation that went into making this program and actually saw some real life results on friends of mine. I’m now trying it out and i gotta tell ya, it ain’t easy, but at the end it’s all worth it!
So, keep healthy and rememeber to exercise,

We’ve all heard of the recent financial turmoil taking the global economy by storm.
Have you thought how it had affected YOU?
Now, you must be thinking, “Danny, it hasn’t affected me at all…”, but i promise you that it has, whether it is directly like losing your job, or indirectly such as hearing about a family member or a friend who’s having financial troubles.
The important thing is that being a self-motivational individual is most important at times like these. If you’ve lost your job or know about anybody who has, let them know that crying about it won’t solve anything, let them know that they must pick themselves up and fight through it like they’ve done in the past…let them know that there is a way.
I urge you to go out there and find opportunities and overcome fear and overcome adversity in times like these where hope is lost…but i promise you that HOPE IS ALL BUT GONE!!!
Thanks for reading, Danny Shcharinsky

In today’s post, I just wanted to share something that is dear to my heart: Music.
As far back as i can remember, music has always been there for me, unconditionally, lovingly, and in good spirit ready to listen and absorb every one of my problems. It has been both therapeutic and self motivational, helping me, along the way, to overcome the greatest of obstacles.
Today, I wanted to open this post for others to help me share songs, artists, or albums that they feel have given them hope, helped them overcome adversity, and have restored faith in their life. So feel free to leave a text/video comment including the song that your heart feels closest to.
Whether it is self motivational or just upbeat, MUSIC, my friends, will always be there for you like your own personal self motivational ATM.
Here is a list of a few songs that i feel gets me through tough times:
Here we are guys…Share your Music with the world and help others get back on their feet.

Stuart Knight is one of the best self motivational speakers i have ever come to known. In my eyes he ranks among the best of the best in the bussiness (up there with tony robbins and John Maxwell). A few months ago i had the pleasure of attending a workshop he did at Downtown, Toronto called “The Art Of Powerful Conversation.” This workshop completely and utterly changed my life and the way i converse with others whether it is at work, school, or even on the bus.
Stuart Knight sends out a weekly “self motivational” email called “Madness Of My Mind.” This one is one of my favourite ones so far and always inspires me when i’m down so here i am sharing it with the world…Enjoy!!!
P.S you can find Stuart’s material and upcoming shows/workshop here.

Are you afraid of failure? How do you view failure? Do you welcome the idea of failure as an essential part of your success or do you flee from it faster than a speeding bullet?
Most of us think of failure as, put quite simply, “bad.” But what if I told you that without failure, your chances for success are much slimmer, would you believe me? Mike Robbins, in his article “Appreciating Failure,” states that “Failure itself isn’t the real issue; it’s our relationship to and our fear of failure that causes us pain and frustration.”
We must get used to the idea that without failure, there is no success. Just like without cold, there is no hot. See, there is a big difference between failing at something and being a failure. One does not necessarily mean the other.
The more we fail at something, the more we learn about that something, and the better we become at overcoming adversity. Robbins says, “What if we actually appreciated failing? Remember, appreciating something doesn’t necessarily mean we like or enjoy it. Appreciation means that we recognize the value of something and are grateful for it.”
To reach success, we must learn to appreciate failure. This will make overcoming adversity much easier and allow you to reach success faster. Don’t get hung up on every little thing that goes wrong, but rather try to remember the “big picture.” Remind yourself why you’ve started on this journey in the first place. Go back to the mental and emotional feeling of excitement you felt at the beginning of the journey when you decided to embark on it in the first place.
Here are a few things we can appreciate about failure as helping us in overcoming adversity:
· Failure is usually a great opportunity for learning, growth, and improvement
· Failure usually involves taking a risk, which is something we can acknowledge ourselvesfor and be proud of
There are a few ways suggested by Robbins to help you in overcoming adversity and start appreciating failure:
He states: “Make a list of some of the biggest failures in your life – things from the past or things that are currently happening. What can you appreciate about each of these failures? What did you learn? What feedback did you get? How did failing in this way enhance your life?”
I believe that something good comes out of every set back that we experience. Most people are familiar with the story of Thomas Edison inventing the phonograph while trying to invent something entirely different. But did you know that Kellogg’s Cornflakes resulted when boiled wheat was left in a baking pan overnight?
So, for next time you think you’ve failed remember to focus on what you’ve gained from the experience rather than what you’ve lost. Follow these simple tips and overcoming adversity will become much easier.
Go out there and HAVE FUN failing!
